As a mother of two, it’s hard to fathom that 1 in 5 NYC children face hunger every year. To help increase access to healthy food and address this issue in our community, we pledge to donate 500 nourishing meals to hungry children and teens by the end of the year, starting with New Alternatives for LGBTQ+ homeless youth this June. New Alternatives is a drop-in center that helps young people transition out of the shelter system and into stable, adult lives.
